Description

The V800 Series has been re-styled for 2005. Designed for the strokemaker, the V800 offers a lighter pick-up without compromising power. The unique groove design, now towards the shoulder area, reduces weight but the wood distribution is maintained through the strike zone. Like all of our Slazenger bats, the V800 Pro has a 9 Piece Premium Round Cane Handle, giving unrivalled feel and performance whilst allowing the bottom hand to maintain a true grip and the top hand to stay in control. With a unique shoulder groove design, weight removed from the shoulders allows for more willow to be distributed to the "Profiled Strike Zone". The Profiled Strike Zone has increased wood distribution to the central strike zone which allows for maximum response. These bats also feature a curved toe, with willow distributed slightly lower the V800 is ideal for those with a shorter back lift who rely on timing.

Customer Reviews

This is fine for sloggers

2.0 / 5.0

This one is only for people who play more cross bat shots. Again it straight bat so good for powerful guys who hit with power more than timming. Andy flower used it as he was a good sweeper. But still I would think if you wanna learn play straight(which i better cricket) and and still need a straight blade bat , go for S V1200 or newberry.
